Today I have a new challenge for text to images AI services. Yes, that’s right, this time I will test multiple services and compare them.
The task is very simple as I will provide the same text to seven different text to images services and then present the final result. So basically, it is just a comparison, which service can provide the most beautiful image. I will not compare pricing, features, speed and other perks. It is all about the image.
Final result will have different sized mages from different services as some AI give fairly low-resolution images.
Also number of images provided by each AI will differ as this how those services are working. Another criteria, which I was looking for, was possibility to use AI without entering my payment cards details and having some free tier option.
After spending some time on Google, I’ve decided that contenders will be these 7 text to image AI services:
- DALL-E
- Nightcafe AI
- Craiyon
- Stable Diffusion
- StarryAI
- DeepAI
- Dream By Wombo
The text, which I have provided to each AI is as follow.
“Under the tree an old school camper van standing on top of the hill and beautiful sunrise is visible in the background. Image in realistic 3D render style.“
You have to keep in mind that even though tasks for all AI was the same, it might be interpreted differently and for some AI services image style should be selected and, of course, that might impact the final result.
My three favorites in this contest are DeepAI, Nightcafe AI, Stable Diffusion (listed alphabetically).
DALL-E and StarryAI is somewhere in the middle.
I was the least exited about Dream By Wombo and Craiyon.
Just a reminder that I was looking only, how beautiful images are and this is my opinion and you not necessary should agree with it.
Keep in mind that by providing exactly the same query to those services as I did, you might get different result. Also if I would provide some different query, my final thoughts about these service could get different as each service has its own strengths and weaknesses. If it wasn’t doing well with camper van, it might do much better with portraits.
